When is Article Marketing Successful?
A typical web activity is when a web browser arrives at the door of your article and becomes its visitor. The article contents will play host to the mind of the visitor by feeding him with useful information about your product or service, just enough to whet his appetite. After which, he finds his exit door at the resource box below where it says, you can learn more about the product by visiting the company's website. He clicks on the link and finds himself entering another door.
He is transformed from being a mere visitor into becoming a potential client. This reader multiplied by the number of visitors who will land on the business's web page will render the article marketing strategy very successful.
Success Factor of the Marketing Strategy
Undoubtedly, the turning point of the web visitor's transformation lies in the article and its contents. The written material may be original, well-written and grammatically correct but if the contents will only glorify the product, pompously announce your company and is literally strewn over with links... ( the reader stops reading at this point).
It is an agreed fact therefore that the success of article marketing lies in the articles contents and below are the three keys it holds to open the mind of a reader:
The first key: Integrity. What you say and feed to the reader is reliable and highly logical. A reader backs off if presented with words like, "our product can create overnight wonders" or "you will earn millions in just a blink of an eye". The reader needs fact, solutions, scientific explanations and anything rationally beneficial.
The second key: Selling Skills. You drop lines of soft selling techniques that provide information which a reader can visualize, "sexy lingerie worn beneath regular clothes, seem to bring a mysterious sense of self-confidence".
The third key: Relating. Express understanding and empathy. Make the reader feel that the problem occurs to almost everyone and that they are not alone. Give an assurance that there are companies out there like yours, who will stop at nothing to find a solution to their problem. Give hope and encouragement to move on and find out the possible treatments and solutions at hand.
Hence, the reader will be convinced that the next place to go is at the website indicated at the end of the resource box. Finally, the visitor is now transformed. He is now a potential customer.
